Your profile should contain as much information about yourself as possible. List your likes, your dislikes, and describe yourself in a short paragraph. It is best to use accurate information, so the matchmaking is accurate. |

A great way to get more attention on your profile is to upload a picture. Research shows that users that have a picture uploaded have their profiles viewed as much as 5 times more than users that don't have a picture uploaded. |

No, you can use the quicksearch option on the main page. Though with quicksearch you can only select a limited amount of criteria to find your match. If you would like to do a more thoroughly search by a multidude of criteria, you can sign up for FREE! |

We have a multidude of search options for our users. You can do a quicksearch, a more advanced search, or you can search for someone by their username. |

What is an "username search"? |
| |
|
If you are doing a username search, you will only find one match, that matches the exact username you searched for. This is useful to find your contact's profile very fast (in case you haven't added them to your buddylist). |

What is a quick search? |
| |

A quick search is a search through all the users by the critera you select. When doing a quicksearch you can only select what you are looking for, the age bracket, and if you would like to only see profiles with pictures. |

What is an advanced search? |

An advanced search is a search by a variety of criteria. You can select almost anything in your search query, for example to only show you profiles of users that have blue eyes and dark hair. |

How can I view someone's

To view someone's profile, just click the "view profile" button on the right hand side of their short description. |

Yes you can. In order to do this just go to the "Contacts" section in the menu on the left hand side of this page. Type in the username you would like to add to your contact list and click on the button that says "add contact". |

If you have problems with a specific user, you can block him/her. To do this go to the Contacts section, and click on the "blocks" button at the top. Now type in the desired username and click on the "add block" button. |

How can I message someone? |
| |
| To message someone click on the "message me" button associated with that user or go to the Mailbox section by clicking on the "Mailbox" button that is located in the menu on the left hand side of this page. Now click on compose to write a message. You will notice this interface looks a lot like any e-mail application, and it works just like that. In the "to" field, you will have to write the username you want to message, in the "subject" field the subject of the message, and in the "message" field the message you want to send. Once you do all that just click on send and the message will be instantly sent. |

I want to save the message and send it later on. Can I do that? |

| Yes you can. Whenever during the process of writing a message you'd like to save it continue some other time, put a checkmark for "Save to Draft Folder" and click on send. You can find your message in the Drafts folder of your mailbox now. |

I sent an user a message but I don't remember what I wrote to
them. How can I view the message I sent? |

| To view sent messages, go to the "Sent items" section in your mailbox. |

What is a trash folder? |
| |
| Messages that you have deleted are stored in the trash folder. It acts a lot like the recycle bin of your computer. If you deleted a message it goes to the Trash folder. Once you delete them from the trash folder, you CAN NOT get that message back !!! |

All the messages that you receive are stored in the Inbox until deleted. |

Yes you can. To do that go to the "Settings" section of your Mailbox. Select the notification to ON and click on the "Save Notification Setting" button. |

Yes you can. To do that, simply click on the user's nickname in your Inbox. |

No, a photo is not mandatory for the creation of an account. |

a photo to my profile? |

To upload a picture, go to the "My Profile" section. Now click on the button that says "photos". Now click on the browse button and select your picture. Once you found it, click on the "Submit" button and the picture will be uploaded. |

Can I delete a photo that I don't want people to see? |

Yes you can. To delete a picture, go to the Photos section and click on the "Delete picture" button associated with the picture you want to delete. |

What is a private picture? |

A private picture is a picture that can only be viewed by members whom you give permission to do so. To make a picture private click on the "Make private" button associated with that picture. To add a user that can see your private album click on the "Private" button on the Photos page, type in the username and click on the "add user" button. |

What is a default picture? |

The default picture is the picture that will be shown as a thumbnail in all searches. You can select which picture is the Default picture by clicking on the "Set Default" button associated with that picture. |
